BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT FOR DOGS AND THEIR GUARDIANS
Support for dogs struggling with fear, anxiety, reactivity, or changes in behavior.
When life with your dog feels harder, more stressful, or less predictable than it should, you do not have to figure it out alone.
The Yin Yang Dog provides evidence-informed, whole-dog behavioral support to help you understand what may be affecting your dog and take thoughtful next steps together.

Understanding comes before a plan.
Behavior is communication. Rather than focusing only on stopping what we can see, I look at the full context of your dog’s life: their experiences, environment, needs, individual characteristics, and the pressures they may be navigating.
This whole-dog approach helps us move beyond labels and quick fixes toward support that is practical, compassionate, and tailored to the dog in front of us.
How I can help
Every dog and household is different. Whether your dog is struggling with separation-related distress, fear or reactivity, or the challenges of early puppyhood, support begins with understanding what is happening and what your dog needs.
Puppy Support
A thoughtful start for the dog your puppy is becoming
Puppyhood is not about rushing through a checklist.
It is an opportunity to build a supportive foundation around your puppy’s development, individual needs, and the life skills that matter in your home.
Separation Anxiety
Help your dog feel safe when home alone
Separation anxiety is genuine distress, not a lack of obedience or independence.
Specialized remote support helps you understand your dog’s experience and work gradually toward comfortable absences.
Behavior Consultations
Support for fear, anxiety, reactivity, and behavior changes
A behavior consultation provides a clear place to begin when something feels off, your dog’s behavior has changed, or daily life has become difficult to manage.
Together, we look at your concerns, your dog’s history, and the factors that may be contributing, then create thoughtful, practical next steps.
“Alexandra’s expertise and patience were evident throughout the program. She provided clear and actionable advice that was easy to follow, and I noticed significant improvements in my dog’s behavior after just a few sessions. She was always available to answer questions and provided ongoing support, making me feel confident and motivated to continue the training.”
